I imagine there are similar options for Android/Windows Mobile.

In Canada make the following standard:

Folding door mirrors on door locking
Auto close sun roof on door locking (with over-ride on remote)
    Auto dimming rear mirror
    Homelink for door openers
    Auto climate control for HVAC

Essentially what I'd like to see as well. I would debate whether I want auto climate though, but everything else I would have gladly taken a price increase for as it would be less trouble than installing afterwards.

    already exists..

folding mirrors... eh.. i know alot of more expensive cars that dont have that (i know the sorrento? has it but still)

the auto close sun roof is clutch my after market ion sun roof does this and it's awesome
homelink for door openers? you mean like garage? that would require you having the auto dimming but i dont know why they wouldnt be able to do it.

imo auto climate control is a waste of weight and money but thats just me

Oh, and a better horn. "Beep beep" doesn't cut it.
Australian Velosters get better damping but we have a lilttle rear-end bump-steer which I think is down to chassis flexing. But the front suspension is good on the roughest of roads and the rear is okay. I have a turbo and If I use the paddles only it returns to 'drive' after 20 seconds. But when I put the gear selector to sports mode and manually change, it holds the gear I select and doesn't return to automatic mode. When I take the gear selector out of sports mode it returns to 'drive' again. So you can drive it like a clutchless automatic as long as it's in sports mode. I removed the front apron and fitted twin PIAA horns and it took about half an hour.

Koni have dampers available for the Veloster. The fronts are fitted inside the stock strut housing while the rears are complete change-over units. Koni yellows are great dampers and they will solve your handling problems.

+1 to a better suspension. The lateral movements over bumps and uneven surface is extremely budget. but this is an economy car...

Gen II electric steering. Tighten it up and make it more precise and fun on close turns. Then craft a performance suspension on the Turbo that's different from the base model.

Tighten up the steering and give it a better tuned suspension - so, like, turn it into the Australian 2013 VT then?

I want more feel in my electric steering but if 200k Porsches can't introduce steering feel then I'm not hopeful for a 20k hatchback to get it right.
