random question to all V owners

have any of you when asked what kind of car your driving, the next question is "is that an electric car??" i have had probably 8-10 people ask that. i was just wondering if any other owners have been asked this?

Only one, usually when they see fit blacked out badges and how it "looks" so fast. They usually assume it's not electric. Isn't it an unspoken rule that if someone that doesn't know about cars ask if it's fast you say the opposite? "Hey is that bike fast? " my 600cc gsxr. "Nope, super slow road cruiser"

No electric inquiries, but most folks I've run into don't know what the hell a Veloster is.

Same here. It's the car Honda wishes they built and they kinda did. It's called the CRX which they then gave their "Del Sol" to the devil to make... *crickets*

Anyway, which Cinquicento did you own? Classic or new?

I traded a 2008 Fiat 500 for the Veloster...loved that car! White with black leather...Italian stripe over the roof and bonnet. Don't get me wrong. I like the Veloster a lot...it just doesn't make me smile like the Fiat did

I had a guy at a gas station tell me he had just looked these cars up on the internet and was excited to see one. then asked if i bought the 2 or 4 door version.

My sister asked me if I bought myself a Porsche the first time she saw it.

But, no, nobody has asked me if it's an electric. Plenty of compliments though - ranging from "it's cute" to "wow! is it fast?"

I hope you told them you couldn't decide so you got the 3, lol. Only had a couple of older folks ask what i'm driving, but that's it.

I had about 6 people who stop and asked about my car, but never if it was a hybrid. all were women, so either I'm extremely hot, or I just bought a chick car

I had one girl come up to me and ask me how I liked the car since she was interested in buying one. "It's so sexy, I want it." Was nice to hear, but other than that no one has said anything to me. Disappointing actually.

I've had lots of people ask about the car. I also got the Porsche question once and guys coming up to me at gas stations to look at it and say how they like it. I have also gotten plenty of complements from women from that is a sexy car to it's just so cute...anyway. I think the green one really makes this car pop where the other colors don't get noticed as well. I have two friends with the V, one owns the blue, the other owned the black one. they had never said anything about getting comments on their cars. the guy that had the black one traded it in on the vitamin c and has gotten several comments.

I always get compliments in random places about how great and "sharp" the car looks. They always also tend to ask the same two questions for me though: 1) what is it and who makes it? and 2) what is your gas mileage like?

Never gotten any questions about it being a hybrid though.

Too bad. Had mine a month, and have had several random strangers ask to see the inside. People where I work compliment me on it daily, and one lady says if I miss it, it's at her house.

I'm happy to report that I even more happily say "Oh I couldn't decide so I picked 3"
