    Problem with remote on keys

Recently I started noticing that when I hit the lock button on my key remote nothing would happen. At first I didn't think anything of it, but then today after I parked my car at work, and tried locking it from the remote nothing happened again. I tried hitting all the buttons on the remote and nothing happened for any of them. I've had my Veloster since last December so it's very possible the battery could have died I suppose, but I'm not sure. Has anyone else had this problem?

I had to have mine relearned about a month ago. One fob quit working, the spare worked fine. Battery was good in both. Took 5 minutes on lunch break to relearn both of them at the dealership. Just make sure you bring both fobs.

I haven't changed the battery in mine yet. Was working then quit 5 minutes later.
So in a Homer moment i took out my phone and used the blue link app to unlock the doors. That didn't work. So i was forced, for the first time since i bought the car, to under the key in the door.

It's a standard 2032 computer battery, you can change it in minutes

Pay attention to page 2, it's got the super easy way to open it there.
(assuming proximity key, regular ones are a bit easier, but the OP has made no mention of the type)

Mine have stop working twice since I got my V in January. For some reason they had to reset them. They test them out on a machine to see if its the battery or the device itself. If you have to get them reset make sure you get both your spare and you original reset, even if your spare is working correctly.

I have had this happen twice now, The dealer ordered me a new FOB and I am going in Tue., to get it, I thought it might have somthing to do with where I work which is around strong electrical fields but than it happened after just sitting on my kitchen counter with "NO" electrical appliances around it. Anyway we'll see how the new one works.

For reasons unknown they had to help reset them. They test them out on a machine to discover if its the particular battery or the product itself. If you will need to get them reset ensure you get both your spare so you original reset.
