On it's way to me today......woohoo it's been a long wait. Should have it tomorrow or Black Friday. will be installed Saturday if that's the case.

On a side note, I spoke with Jesse regarding the "doubters".
During the early R & D they had removed the piping from cat back ie: 2nd cat & resonator in first design, dyno'd and noted the H.P. Then designed the ABE and found increase in H.P. They didn't give the numbers for first version just stated they had better numbers with the ABE over the 2nd cat/resonator delete design. So you either believe or don't. You get a CAI & ABE for $598.98 with dyno proven stats, I think this is a really good price for the performance mod. H.P. increase over stock set-up.
Once the code breakers decipher the mapping etc. and make a performance "chip" then more possibilities will open up.

Only look less than an hour. I sprayed the existing bolts with some wd-40 a couple days before doing the work so the bolts came off pretty easy. 19mm and 13mm wrenches are all you need. Have fun!

I got the intake, and the intake sounds AMAZING...Thats why im wondering if its that much of a sound difference cause ik the intake sounds pretty sick already, and ik that the video was on RayT's velo which has the intake also.

I installed the CAI a couple months ago, I was very pleased with the performance improvement and was pleasantly surprised with the grown from the engine bay. After installing the ABE, I absolutely love the combination of the sounds, nice growl all around, not too loud. Performance wise, I only noticed a slight improvement with the ABE. The biggest improvement for me was getting rid of the lag when shifting from 1st to 2nd. That drove me crazy. The lag is pretty much gone, the CAI helped but after putting on the exhaust, it is much improved!

I thought the same thing, I was torn if I should spend the extra money. So far, I am glad I did. The thing that's nice about the exhaust is that it compliments the intake. When you don't get the sound from the intake, the exhaust takes over. The two together are not obnoxious, I am 46 years old, I did not want a fart can sound and TK delivered! They got it right.

TK making parts for the normal V but not the Turbo? Does anyone see the irony in that.

Ironic? Yes. But if we follow the vehicular production schedules we see why...

    Sweeeeeeeet !

The white V is mine. They used my car to fit the prototype after they did the first fit on your car. I have had the exhaust since Aug and its great. I have the intake as well. It sounds a lot better in person than in the video IMO. You guys wont be disapointed.

Yeah, just being a smart arse. The cars are very similar so I'm sure their Turbo parts are sure to follow. I do like the fact that they are actually dynoing and trying different things instead of slapping parts together and calling it a day.

M..... I think the Turbo aftermarket is where their gonna shine because that is their specialty. Stay tuned for the upgrade on VT. As I've witnessed they don't rush things either but are meticulous with how they design & test at TK. I know they were looking for a VT for developement but not sure if someone came thru or not.

FedEx will be dropping off my ABE today (driver actually called to verify someone would be home since signature is required), I know what I'll being doing tonight after dinner...........

Just installed it. very easy. 2 bolts lol. I will still make a DIY even though its easy.

I love how its not too loud yet I can feel that there IS a little bit more power. Accelerator feels a lot easier. Until of course I turn the clutch switch back on.
