Performance & Body mods for leased Veloster?

hey whatsup,

I have a leased base model Veloster (manual GDI), and would really like to squeeze some HPs and TQs with some temporary parts. I have contacted my dealership, and they said besides window tints, I need to return the vehicle the same as I had got it.

Any Ideas/tips would be appreciated!

I already have the $40 K&N air filter on its way from amazon! pretty excited for that... lol

Also, (please excuse my ignorance) would a computer chip somehow do something magical for me?

I also have a leased manual Veloster. Search the forums for the clutch switch mod, it is something you could do to eliminate the shift lag, install a removable switch with double face tape. I also wrapped my front grille with vinyl and I am installing Rally Armor mud flaps soon.

chips won't work in the Veloster, they have a ECU unit, which would have to be flashed. Haven't heard much on that front tho.

I was interested in wrapping my grille as well, but I saw some videos on PlastiDip and am going to try it out. Already have a few cans on their way. going to black out the grille, emblems, door handles, and the gap between the roof glass and my windshield. I'm thinking about blacking out my rims, as well.

Cool, post some pics when you are finished. I want to plastidip my wheels once it gets nice out as well.
