Why not just put a car cover over it if you're expecting snow?

Matte Paint SPEC SHEET
When i first aquired my matte vt last nov. i stumbled across the spec sheet online. Thought i bookmarked it, but then i couldnt find it again. This is the paint manufacturers detailed instructions on how to use this paint. This is crucial info. A bodyshop needs to follow, if god forbid you ever need to have any paint or bodywork done.
Of course we'd like to think that they would also aquire this info. But you know what happens when we assume the obvious.
Anyway, i wanted to make sure i was able to get this info. Again, so i got in touch with PPG and had it sent to me. Unforunately it was scanned upside down and sent as a pdf.
Id like to make this available to all the matte owners, but im not really down for uploading this stuff (9) pages, or trying to get it right side up. If one of you guys want to put it up, pm me and ill forward the email to you. Us matte owners are in good company, i was told this paint is also used on Lamborghinis

The snow falling on your parked car isn't the problem, its no different than rain. Its the snow on the road that's wet mixed with salt and sand that poses the problem. Can't have a cover while driving

To all the na Sayers, get one. I have decades of experience and this matte gray is the easiest finish I have ever kept. Seal the clear coat after first wash and nothing more than a fifty fifty solution of alcohol and distilled water for spot removal. Thanks Hyundai for growing a pair.....
Wow what wimps lol.... Matte in many ways is easier care ... Just don't use wax products or buff your car ... And stick to matte paint approved cleaners of which there is a growing amount ... Meguiars is coming out with a line early next year ....it's just a new way if thinking about paint care. For instance how easy is it to get ugly swirl marks on gloss clear coat ... Really easy ! The matte on the Veloster is absolutely stunning I mean car show stunning ... Comparing it to a old spray painted Honda is just ignorance...
As far as matte being delicate watch this MCM video the shoot cake at a VT with a air cannon and then clean it to perfection lol...

Imma eat the cake instead.
I did my first hand wash after 2 months since buying the car (it rained a lot in NorCal). Even dirty the car looked good.
Just watch the video. It's easy! Don't need to wax and other extra car. The only thing is no more drive thru car washes. Hands on sucka.
