nope just brought it in for them to start R&D .. i have my idea as to what it should do but we'll hve to wait and see

The cool thing about SFR is that the typically travel around the country doing these reflash meets, so you dont have to go right to them to get your car done.

I predict a canned tune from SFR might see 20w/hp and 25lb/tq on a VT. Better fuel economy, better throttle response too.

yup that part is awesome.. I actually think gains will be closer to 35-50 whp and similar wtrq depending on what they raise the boost to, also my car is on 93. even if they were able to hold boost closer to 16-17 by redline that alone will raise peak by 30 whp more then likely as it is stock we're losing probably 15 whp from where we have that dip

Any increase would be nice especially if it smooths out the throttle and power delivery.

I assume that once they have access to the ecu they can play around with the maps and such. I wonder if they would be able to tune a NA to see a turbo or handle a down sized super charger. That's what I'm really waiting for.

demarioii, I would think that the NA version could handle a turbo or SC... idk what the pistons/ rods are made out of though. so you'd probably have to keep like 10 or under psi on either method...definitely with supercharging.. but an m45 or m62 kit would be interesting

I was under the impression they would just be doing some baseline dynos and testing some things.. and not actually tuning it lol but idk that status sounds like they're actually tuning it to me lol
