Added Sequence Devil Wing to my Veloster

Finally got around to adding a Sequence Devil Wing to my Veloster - had to modify the new Turbo Spoiler so that I could replace the standard one. Was a bit nervous that I had spent all the money on the new Turbo Spoiler and the Devil Wing and that we could not get it to fit.

Thanks Mario8 - has taken awhile to get the Veloster how I wanted it but all has worked out well. Also addedd side skirts and carbon fibre bonnet wrap. Was going to upload some more images but they won't load

Looks great! I bought the Sequence spoiler for my turbo but haven't had the chance to have it painted and installed. I love how it raises the sloping rear end and adds "something" to the back of the car. I noticed that you don't have a tiny rear wiper like we do in the US. I just assumed all Velosters came with that.

i'm not a fan of the four holes visualized from the top...thought it would be smooth.

Thanks for your comments - here in Australia, the Veloster models did not come with a rear wiper [don't know the reason] The rear wiper is on the new Turbo Models released here in Australia. As you say, the rear wing does in my opinion give the car a better look on the rear slope of the car - makes it look meaner - On Monday I will be putting the car in to lower it about one and half inches. This will be the final mod on the car [I Hope]

I purchased mine from Import Shark. I had to pay extra for freight as they had to ship it by TNT. The wing is quite wide so it cannot be sent by US Post as Australia Post do not handle parcels of that size. You would have to send them an email - they are a sponsor of this forum. Importshark

The holes should come with four black rubber plugs that cover the screws/holes. My body shop painted the plugs to match the spoiler/body colour.

Aren't they there for drainage though, as the wing slopes upwards?

No.....they're there for the bolts that attach it ;-)

VMOD, the MY13 comes with rear wiper.

And the wing looks good! Btw, what are those "black dots" on the side skirt? Is it meant too look that way?

Thanks for the comments - the black dots are supposed to be there - I screwed the side skirts to the body of the car and the black dots are caps that fit over the screws. This is a personal thing I did, some people may not like it but as always, you can't please everyone - I build to my own likes and tastes and that is what counts. I have kept with a theme on the car - the rear sensors on the car are black and screw caps on the Devil Wing are black. Carbon fibre is featured on the front grill, rear back panel, bonnet and the wheels. I am just keeping to the black and green theme throughout the car. Next month I will be doing some interior trim changes with a special one off leather that features black & green.

In Australia, the Veloster did not come with a rear wiper [don't know why] the new Veloster Turbo comes with a rear wiper. In putting the Devil Wing on my Veloster I had to purchase an OEM Turbo Spoiler. The Devil Wing only fits onto the Turbo spoiler. The back glass roof on the Turbo Model is about 4" shorter than on the standard models so I had to modify the turbo spoiler to fit onto my car. This was done by cutting an L shape out of the turbo spoiler and fitting it to the car. I also added a weather proof thin rubber strip to the modified spoiler to stop any water from entering the boot. I have tested this by running a hose over the wing and spoiler and was glad to see that no water entered the boot.

just in reference to your comment about no wiper. There is now a Veloster FS2 that has a wiper. AS you said before dont know why it was n after thought. I ordered my V+ FS2 in white and should be getting it in 2 weeks. Cant wait.
