    Cool Playing Video while driving

I've put the code 90019001 and now i can play video while driving! Downloaded heaps of MTVs and the sound quality is great!

I know it's illegal but has anyone else done this? I just press the "call" button on the steering wheel to hide the video but the sound still plays!

Too many people have killed others by texting and phoning others whilst driving. Losing concentraction for a second or two can lead to dreaded results. You'd have to live with the conseqences forever. Hacking this is really not a good idea.

Have to say I don't find the Velosters media centre very good for this at all. Doesn't seem easy to navigate (although only had it a week).

I'm only in my 20's but give me a system with 'buttons' any day. Far easier to change without moving your eyes off the road.

What do you have to do in order to activate this ?. I want to use my screen to display the GPS on my iPhone (not watch videos) while driving. I want to see if its a worthwhile alternative to getting an aftermarket GPS installed. For the price of the cable ($15-$45) depending on who you purchase it from, its a damn site cheaper too.

I understand doing this takes it out of 'park' mode, but when you turn it off, does it go back to 'park' mode, or do you have to put the code in overytime you want to do this ?.

Works exactly like everyone has been saying. You get test mode and click 'OK', a keypad then comes up and you enter the code...... easy peasy

Yeah mine says 'Driver regulation = PARKING'. but it does work and let you do it while driving, so not sure ?. It doesnt actually make sense, as it should say something else, but I guess thats just how they set it up ?.

It shouldn't say anything at all once that "'Driver regulation = PARKING'" displays itself. Turn the engine off and restart the car and that's it.

i purchased the apple composite cable for ipad/iphone and used this code so we can watch netflix on our trips. its perfect for the kiddo in the backseat and the sound plays through the V speakers. an added bonus is that all apps that support TV out display on the device (including my motionX GPS )

For those like myself who hate all that cable length, I found this composite cable (same as apple) on ebay for $15.00 but most importantly, its only 15cm long AV Video to TV Composite RCA Cable USB Charger for iPad iPod Touch iPhone 4S 3GS | eBay
