My Marmalade VT modded to my satisfaction!

    Hey guys.

As of this afternoon all the mods I really wanted done to my car are all completed. Anything now is just going to be a little fun here and there, the list is as follows:

    - Lowered about 1.25"
    - 18x8.5 Rota Grid Drifts
    - 4200k Headlight and Foglight Bulbs (Not HID to avoid Cop trouble)
    - Straight Piped Muffler from Axleback
    - White LED interior Maps Lights.

All you need is a spoiler.

I'm off my p plates in Jan, I'm 21. As nvy mentioned I don't see why it matters?

Also spoilers only do what they sound like in my opinion - spoil the car. Not a fan.

Thanks for all the other kind words!

Which bulbs did you use for your headlights (non-HID)? Looking to upgrade from the stock bulbs and try and eliminate the yellowish look. Sorry if this has been answered somewhere else. I am new to the forums...

Maximus that's pretty damn cheap .. how good are they .. stuff that I have seen at Auto Cheap etc is like $50+ and ++

What do you mean they are a pain to install .. isn't it just a matter of unscrewing the holder, removing the bulb and inserting the new bulb ??

Do they actually put out more light, or just a different colour? I do feel like I'm missing some light on high beam compared to the Statesman.

It is pretty cheap. Since I've just installed them time will tell whether they are good for the money or not.

In terms of difficult to install I just mean there isn't alot of room to move behind the bulb area and you need to use pliers the first time to remove as they are very tough.

With light it is a different colour mainly with similar but less overall brightness I feel. It lights up better though for the light it puts out.

Thanks mate .. I seem to recall somewhere where they discussed the difficulty of installing lights due to access .. if I'm reading it correct both the holders seem fairly accessible although I haven't tried unscrewing the things yet.

still for that price they seem a steal without knowing of reliability or other issues.

There is about 10 cm of gap behind each low beam bulb housing, it's very tight. I did have to unscrew things to get at it.

Just keep in mind if you order it does take about 20 days to get here
