Hey Peeps, question although my GPS is off and i havnt got it running ie the cd player is in use ect why am i still getting a faint GPS voice over telling me my last input for directions.
you need to clear you previous destination, I think, also bloody annoying how you're driving along listening to your favourite song then volume drops because you are approaching a speed camera etc
yep, go to the map, press the little square top right, then select cancel route.
I hate the drop in sound from speed cameras too, you can turn that off, but I think it has probably saved me a couple dollars so its not all bad :-P
I now have the opposite to this ... GPS sound has "disappeared". Pushed reset and made no difference. Guidance voice and alerts are enabled in Settings ... I can turn off and on again but makes no difference. Notice also that Volume is about 50% but the up and down selectors on the right seem greyed-out, i.e. I can't adjust. Any suggestions before I take it in to be checked?
Jump in the car, crank the music almost all the way, then set a route. when the music drops for the nav voice, hit the volume up on the steering wheel and hold it. that should turn the volume up for the voice. You can only adjust the nav voice like this when you are driving.
Just make sure in the menu first where you found the volume control that you havent muted the voice.
Brill FFEEkY ... I guess it's in the handbook somewhere! Seems you can't adjust Volume in Settings (except to Mute) even when you're not driving.
Sure did, thanks again, but I still don't get why Volume can't be adjusted through Settings while stationary with engine off.
