2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo Manual in Marmalade
nice. i like the white one. Are those wheels stocked? how much? also are these cars lowered? they look cool!
Hey Stormtrooper, none of the wheels are stock - mine on the orange were 1000 with standard tyres put back on, can't say how much the others were. Also, none of the cars are lowered. Yet...

Me and my partner would be interested. Need a fair bit of time in advance with notice though being in Mackay.
Hi Max
Do you have any information on what size the wheels are on the white VT
they look like there 19" - 8.5"

Ok guys I'm going to be honest here .. no offense intended ok
Not a fan of the black rims on the Red (especially) and Cameleon .. ok on the Storm Trooper though
Much prefer the stock wheels ... anyway just my opinion ok
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I love my wheels and that's what matters to me![]()

I am going to lower the car, trust me, I know how much better it will make it look!
Feeky's car looks lower cause it was lower - the amount of crap he had in the boot for the BBQ was mental LOL

haha i guess thats a cheap way to lower the car
Do u think lowering the car will void the warranty. The Hyundai warranty sounds great, dont think i want to lose that when i get my car in feb![]()
i think the black wheels lookcool. add a bit more aggression to the already aggressive 'in your face' look. But is def a personal judgement. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the stock ones.
It's not a beauty contest for me ... wanted red and black to be predominant with as little chrome as possible. Bought wheels with the little spare cash I had left after the car purchase, they look bloody fantastic "in the flesh" and most importantly (to me) they're an easy clean option ... toothbrush is for my mouth (if you know what I mean). BTW SRobz, I've seen Battleship up close ... stock wheels perfect for that colour.
MY car was not lowered, it was just packed up full. Had the back seats folded down with the car packed floor to roof hahaha Still had plenty of go despite the extra weight too! My wheels are 18x8. They look bigger because they have a machined lip around the edge.
The pics of these cars do not do them justice, the gloss black wheels on the red look amazing up close, they really finish it off. And the stock wheels on the marmalade are a little bland for such a good paint job, in saying that you would need a special set of wheels (spoke count, shape, colour etc) to work with that colour. I think Max has managed to pull it off with a good aggressive style.
Was a pretty awesome day overall, did 380km on 46L with a reasonably quick trip down, and a very fast trip back. Next big cruise like this will most likely be byron bay in Feb.![]()
^^^
i was only joking guys .. beauty is in the eye of etc .. I have a friend who hates the look of velosters, drives a Golf, which I think is one of the most boring designs on the road, hasn't changed much since the dinosaurs roamed the earth.
I generally like staying stock although I agree it is nice to stand out from the crowd (hence me changing from a grey SP25 lol) .. I tossed up between the red and storm trooper but decided that battleship was a way to stand out while remaining stock .. it is a colour that I think will be liked or disliked but still turn heads .. mind you if everyone and his dog buys one in Canberra I might be in the same spot I'm on now.
