Zen or xan, can either of you tell me if this intake "whistles" i know certain intakes/filter types do a whistle in certain parts of the RPM band. my mazda's SRI did it and i LLOOVVEEEDD the sound.

The sound im talking about is a suction, very similar to what you hear sometimes on boosted cars.

Yes it does, very light whistle. I will have video of regular driving, WOT, and dyne hopefully by next monday.

I will buy this intake if its cheaper then the Injen one.

It definitely will, once I have a price since there will be no set map on the intake, I will post it up!

I'm pretty proud that we managed to keep the gains all the way to redline.

I think what sets this one apart is the gains down low: the Injen actually LOSES hp until about 3500 in cold air form.
