What is NOPI?

NOPI stands for NUMBER ONE PARTS, INC

NOPI's warehouse is located in Atlanta in the Airport Area about 12 miles from downtown Atlanta. NOPI was established in 1966 as a VW, Porsche and Audi replacement and performance parts store and distributor. In the late 70's and early 80's, NOPI added Datsun and Toyota replacement and performance parts once these cars became popular. In the late 80’s, recognizing the rise of import vehicles on the road, NOPI set out across the globe to locate available aftermarket parts for these cars. Over the next 20 years, the performance aftermarket boomed, and NOPI, of course, was in it from the beginning. Later, in the 90's, American car makers took notice and began building tuner style cars. NOPI immediately began offering parts for these vehicles as well. Now in the 21st century, we also include products for trucks and SUVs as well.

I remember you guys from back in the late 80's early 90's when I was doing mini-trucks then CRX's. Every now and then I wish i could find one of those Testarossa Mazda truck kits. I even got my convertible truck kit from you guys back then. Always ran those 20 some page ads in the mags back in the day.

Oh the days of going to Nopi Nationals..

First vehicle - 96 Mitsu Eclispe GSX, only now I know that I should have never loaded the AWD turbo coupe with 8 (yes eight) kicker solobaric 10s. Wasn't about the speed back then (even tho it got me in lots of trouble), it was all about the pounding.

Edit- Yes back then, turbo on a 2.0 4cyl only put out 210hp...eeks!
