This Precision HID conversion kit contains everything you need to convert your factory halogen headlamps into HID, High Intensity Discharge.

Manufacturer: Precision Lighting Co. uses German lighting technology in production, and is one of the most reputable companies in HID. Ballast: In any HID kit, the ballasts are the most important component. At Diode Dynamics, we conduct extensive electrical measurement to determine which ballasts to offer. The bulb temperatures are rated accurately in Kelvin temperature, and have an industry-standard 2500 hours of estimated bulb life, which should outlast your vehicle. We offer 3000K (pure yellow), 4300K (pure white), 6000K (ice white), and 8000K (ice blue). We do not offer deep blue or purple colors, so don't ask!

Does the bumper need to be removed to install the HIDs into the headlight housing or do they have access without all the legwork?

I want to upgrade my turbo projector headlights with HIDs but am concerned about having to remove the bumper and take out the headlight altogether.

Installation can be done either way. The challenge without removing the bumper is the very tight space to insert the bulb on the driver side. I've done it, others have done it. Small fingers help. With a helper the bumper removal technique might be easier. I suggest using a relay kit and take the relay power from the passenger side where there is more working room. Kudos to Paul for coming up with an adapter that makes for a clean installation. I know others are selling them on eBay, but it's convenient and cheaper buying the package from Paul at Diode Dynamics.

Does anybody have any pictures of beam pattern against a wall? Interested in pictures from stock US-spec reflector assemblies as well as KDM projector assemblies (as well as US-spec Turbo projector assemblies, eventually).

Not yet! I know there's a couple people on the forums with HIDs installed though, and these would look essentially the same as far as cutoff.

I'll be getting a kit before I get my turbo so I can get them put on shortly afterward.

Trying to decide between the 4300K and 6000K offerings. 6000K might be to blue for me. I want to look high quality OEM, not ricerish.

I would recommend 6000K. We don't really offer any products that are "rice" or too blue. The 6000K only has an extremely slight hint of blue.

DD, are the 4300K pure white or do they have slight yellow like halogen? The reason I ask is because I don't want any hue clashes since the turbo LED accents are white.
