So I just picked up on Saturday my VT in matte grey. The dealer had a Luxon strut bar, Injen CAI and a magna flow exhaust with a switchable baffle and window tint installed at the dealer. They advertised as the Veloster Rapter package. Well I wanted the matte and it was the only one in Ohio.

So far I am enjoying this car and love the exhaust; can go quite mode or a little more noise when I am by myself!

Is there a sound clip for this? I've seen some "custom" magnaflow exhaust clips on YouTube, but I want to hear the car with the official Magnaflow catback...

Huh? I've never heard of such a thing and why on Earth would anyone want to do that.

I think you are thinking of Jun B.L.'s EVC exhaust for the Veloster. That setup has a toggle switch that opens and closes a valve which consequently adjusts the sound. Cool idea, but not worth 1300+ in my opinion.

On a side note, I am also interested in the magnaflow catback but I'd like to hear a sound clip and maybe see some dyno charts first

But very important if you use this multipurpose car for multi purposes. In some scenarios I really need to it to very quiet and so as much as it isn't worth it, it becomes sort of a necessity if I really want to upgrade my exhaust, which I really do.

Yah I was thinking about the Jun BL EVC system and looking at the drawings for the Magna Flow it didn't appear to have that feature but I read somewhere that it could be adjusted so I thought it was worth a shot to ask.

I dont believe they do either. Magnaflow is pretty straight forward stuff. Thats why they are love or hate.

Magnaflow does not make an active exhaust for the VT.

I do apologize... It is the Jun B.L. EVC system. The exhaust was not a make or brake for me buying the car. I am impressed with the option of changing the sound. I have only ran it "louder" on one car trip. Not looking to draw attention, had that with my 06 STi. This is shaping up to be a pretty fun car!

Catback meen straight pipe after the catalyser ? if yes why do the jun bl have an exaust ? for example what should i use if i would like to make exhaust gases to exit with as little back pressure as possible ? with cherry bomb product? could we make a good exaust line with the cherry bomb product

I was considering buying this exhaust based on the price and generally quality of Magnaflow, but the one video we've heard of it is uninspiring.
