Installing Push Button Start and Wireless Entry

To those kicking themselves for not getting the tech package:

    Saw this:
Installing Push Button Start and Wireless Entry-imageuploadedbyag-free1360672487.863056.jpg http://m.aliexpress.com/item/628662455.html

Wondering if anyone has experience installing it and any feedback.

Looks very cool. Push button start, remote start, wireless entry, windshield knocking code entry, smart key with led screen.

There's another push button start on EBay, says it's suitable for Velosters too - is a hidden button that has a flick open cover on a gear stick knob, kind of like the ejector seat button on an Aston Martin DB4

Doesn't do all the other stuff this does though - will have to wait till I'm on the lappie to have a look, the iPad app isn't interested in opening the link, or letting me cut and paste the link

Indeed. Most kits do require you get a copy and cut off the head and then leave that in there.

Although you can also disable the steering wheel lock.

It's not my car, lol i don't drive auto...let alone a blue shift knob.
But i know the steps. First off, it's only a momentary push button with a power and ground. In order for it to start the car you need to tap into the key switchs ignition wire. You tap into that wire and once your key is in the barrel and turned to on you can use the button to start the car.
Or you couldgo legit and hide the key barrel, or cut off the key end and wire in the one above so you can turn the car on and off with it. This simple way is only for turning the car on

Are there any updated pictures for the Push to Start? Does anyone know where I can find instructions or a tutorial video on how to install it? Around how much would it run me to get the Push to Start button?
