I tried 2 different dealers here in Louisville. Both of them have no record of this TSB. So I guess I'm up a creek.

Just a suggestion, if you didn't do this already, print the TSB out and take it to them. Maybe it'll jog memories

That's what I was figuring on doing. It's in the dealer already for a couple of little things. They said to come in and they'd comb through all the records and try to find it.
Plus, I have to sign up to get the Visa card for the gas mileage difference.

I had the TSB done during an oil change. Only problem now is that my voice command for the phone doesn't work the same. I have to give different commands to get it to call from my contact list. Not sure if it has something to do with the type of phone I have (Samsung Galaxy S3)
    Gotta love electronics!

Since getting this update a week ago, the cover art no longer displays when playing songs from my USB flash drive. I've tried reinstalling the cover art but that didn't seem to fix it. After the headunit resets, the first song played displays cover art but not subsquent songs until the next headunit reset. Cover art from my iPhone displays fine when connected via the USB cable.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks a ton!

I supposedly got this when I took my car in for an oil change last week. I noticed that I still have the concept Veloster start up screen and just checked and I am still on 5.1.12. I am guessing they didn't check the version after the attempt to install. I will just get them to install again when I go back to the dealership, I haven't had much of an issue with the clock so I am not worried about it.

Got mine back after my oil change and maintainance... They must have found the update, cause mine now has the update software. Like everyone else says, I haven't noticed much difference, except the border around the cover art. I have noticed that during the hands free calling, my layout is a little different. It now shows previous calls and missed calls. I don't know how everyone else's was but mine didn't do that before.

I also noticed after all my service updates, that I no longer have the 1-2 gear shift lag anymore. So whatever TSB they did for that seemed to fix alot too.

Same story here. Went in for the mileage for the mpg refund without knowing what the clock fix will affect. My clock was working perfect. When I got the car back. All my date and time were screwed up, I reset them and the clock is now 1 minute slow. What the! I loved the welcome tune too =) Also the mpg in the dash is now 1 to 2 mpgs less. I don't know if that's something they did during the mileage check to bring the mpg more in line with reality. Time to calculate it at the pump again.

Especially since my clock kept time okay, I would have declined the update with full disclosure of what all would be affected. Wonder if I can go back and have it undone and get my welcome tune back?!

Hey guys, new M/T Veloster owner here. Base model. I've had car exactly 3 days and love it!!
Have the same clock probe though. Every time I get in car its a dice toss what time will pop up. Date is always Dec 1 but year changes a lot. So read thread, checked TSB and my car already has software 5.1.39 installed however problem is still there.
Plan is to hit dealer in a week or so to have autolock disabled and will see if they can re-install software at same time. Fingers crossed.

Hi all, I am getting the similar issue from some of you... I got my TM2 fix (the clock delay fix) a week ago when I go do my oil change. All thing set aside, the clock reset itself to 2012-6-6 12:00am everytime I start my car (after it sit for a while) Anyone is having exactly this issue? I think they forgot to set something back.... more info from you guys would help! I am going to call the dealership Wed to find out what's wrong...

Nice to hear there is a head unit update finally. The interface is clunky for Gracenote and Pandora. I prefer to run Spotify or Internet radio apps on my iphone and stream via bluetooth or USB when not using XM. Still pretty happy with my Veloster which has 27000 miles on it.

So nobody is experiencing the clock resetting to 2006-01-01 12:00am by itself? Only me? I think is a Y2K thingy, since it only start happening on 12/31/2012 (yesterday) and now paying close attention on it...

Just noticed it today. Off by 3 hours a couple of minutes and 7 years!

It did have day and month correct tho.

Yeah, mine started resetting itself a few days ago. Had the clock update done over a month ago and it had been fine up to this weekend. Will deal with it till I take it in for the caliper recall.

Mine reset itself the other day too. I just assumed it was something to do with changing over into the new year. I'll have to keep an eye on it and see. If it does it again, I'll deal with during the caliper recall too...

So this problem happen to all people regardless they have the clock update or not then...

I've noticed the clock only resetting on the day of 12/31/2012... I've set the clock 3+ times and everytime when I'm back to the car the clock reset (if it's longer than couple hours parking)... this problem exist all the way through 1/1/2013... then it stop happening... now still observing, crossing my fingers...

It will be hard for them to debug even if we report it, since if it's only happen once a year... =(
