Masking the noise doesn't make it go away. Plus I don't listen to the radio every time I'm driving.
Why not have the dealer try to fix them (for free)?

Yes, I was just kidding. You don't disguise annoying noises. You take it back to your dealership rather than complaining to your forum first. The forum can do nothing for you rather than listen and opine. So please do take your car back to your dealership and ask them to fix these creaks, squeaks, and annoyances. Let us know THEN if you have had any success.
Did you miss a few posts? Many of us have been to the dealer multiple times. I had a "fix" that didn't work and now I'm exploring other options. I didn't start this thread. We're all explaining our issues and trying to figure it out. Isn't that the purpose of a forum?
If you're not having issues, good for you. This thread isn't for you.

Just like any other rattle in a car, some folks have it, and some folks don't. For this particular rattle, it exhibits itself when going over bumps or rough road, and the sound transmits itself with origin of in front of the driver, and sometimes is felt in the steering column itself. So one would think its something *in* the car, but due to some clever testing/detective work by BKamp613 on this forum, I was able to articulate this issue with my dealer and they were the ones to take it to the next level and figure out it was the exterior cowl "bouncing" on either itself (plastic on plastic) or on the windshield. The "rattle kit", from what I understand, is a generic box of stuff the dealer can apply to plastic pieces to quiet them down. In my opinion, its probably a bunch of thin sticky foam pieces of various shapes and sizes for inside a car, and perhaps a weather-proof version (rubber or something similar) of same for outside the car applications.

My rattle (well, the one that was most persistent in all conditions, rough road, bumps or smooth) was found to be the wiring for the passenger vanity light. I popped the light down from the headliner and secured the loose wiring with an extra piece of electrical tape. Finally... silence!

I can now completely confirm that the "Rattle Kit" fix solved this rattle problem. Dealer tech installed the kit pieces (whatever they are) underneath the entire width of the windshield cowl, and it has fixed this issue.
Nice! I'll have to find time to get down there and have mine evaluated. Service dept. near me hasn't been that helpful. Does the rattle kit have a specific part # (like for cowl area)?
Thanks!

Small update (kinda):
I goofed around with the cowl and inserted some 3/8" foam tape in a few spots. Rattle remains. I'm 99% sure mine's coming from the wiper somehow. Even after the dealer replaced the arm...which leads me to think:
1) They didn't actually replace it
or
2) Every wiper arm makes a rattle. Which I highly doubt.
Appt. tonight with my local dealer to get it checked out (4th or 5th time now). I wish it was Summer...all these damn noises.

From what i understood, the tech at the dealer removed the whole whole cowl and added the rattle kit around the edges\gaps. Wiper arms shudn't rattle they should be tight or else it would be kind of dangerous having to use them while they're loose. Tap the cowl from end to end see if the same sound originates.
They're keeping it over night parked outside. Nice and cold for the morning test drive. Told them to remove the cowl and wiper arms to see if it goes away. I also have a high-pitched wind noise that might be caused by a loose a-pillar piece. Tech said it seemed loose. Fingers crossed they figure some stuff out.

Will be very interested what the outcome is mate. I to have the rattle in the dash/windscreen area, intermittent but a decent bump will set it off.
Also interested in the loose a-pillar .. mine (drivers side) is not loose but the top end protrudes a bit more than the passenger side. You can press it down, to where it should be, but it does not stick.
Mine started rattling a little in the rear roof somewhere. Now that its super cold out (-3 this morning) Once the car warms up it stops. Hope it won't continue once weather warms up.

Well the dealer can't seem to pinpoint the noise. I informed them that flipping the wiper arm up seemed to fix it (at least that I could tell). They're claiming it's probably due to the 10 degree weather we're having. It's definitely worse during sub-freezing temps, but it makes the noise even up to like 50 degrees (since I bought it in November).
So frustrated. Doubt it'll get solved today. At least I have a rental...
UPDATE: 4 hrs later and they think its coming from the wiper motor. After calling Hyundai to order a replacement they discovered it was on a freeze (can't order). Hyundai seems to be aware of it and will either make some type of grommet to help reduce movement or manufacture a new motor. Recall or TSB pending. Should know (hopefully) in a week)

I have the same issue. This rattling sounds is like there is a screw or something in my dash board that keeping rolling from driver side to passenger side. If the surface is smooth i hear no rattle but i am in NY so i'm rattling all day.
I literally had a loose screw in one of the "pods" in front of the shifter. Every turn I could hear it clinking from one side to the other. Had it removed.

Rattle Update - Dealer said Hyundai is going with a repair kit for the wiper motor issue. A grommet/spacer if some kind. ETA is 1-3 weeks for it to come in (Direct from Korea).
More updates to come!
