Temp gauge, shift indicator, and fuel gauge not working?!?!

Got in my Veloster today and it isn't displaying any of the electronic indicators in the center of the dash. Has anyone else had this problem?? I've had the car since April 2012 and got it from duncan Hyundai with a 20 year 200,000 mile warranty so it shouldn't be any problems getting this fixed through the dealer as I need to take my V in about the sunroof and parking bread recall anyway, and to see if they can reflash my computer to get rid of the 1st to 2nd gear lag. Any input is greatly appreciated!

    Everything else lights up?

Could be a bad LCD display or connection.

I have a couple questions for you. How did you double your warranty? And what are you talking about reflashing and getting rid of manual lag? I hadn't heard about that.

Never heard of this issue. Please keep us updated after your trip to the dealer.

The warranty is through my dealership and as far as I know they are the only dealership to offer that insanely long warranty. Here is their website, they are in Christiansburg VA near Virginia Tech. Duncan Hyundai is a Christiansburg Hyundai dealer and a new car and used car Christiansburg VA Hyundai dealership.

And the 1st to 2nd gear lag is all over the forums just check into it a little harder and I'm sure you'll find it.

So I got in my V after work tonight and wouldn't ya know the rpm gauge and speedometer both quit working as well. So now the entire dash is blank and the rpm gauge stays at 1400 RPM and doesn't move and the speedometer doesn't move at all?!?!?!?! I have an appointment at the dealership on Monday so I guess we shall see what the culprit is then! Once again any input is greatly appreciated from anyone with a similar experience!

Check your tail lights are working - any time I've lost the electrics to the dash, I've lost tail lights too - it's probably not the same in a Veloster, but would hate for you to be driving in to your dealer with no brake lights...

SO.......I got in my V before work this morning and at first everything was still not working, and then half way to work the RPM gauge and Speedometer decided to start working. All I know is my dash is acting crazy!!! I have an appointment at the dealer tomorrow so we shall see what they say.

Nice! Well it looks like I'm going to need it because now the entire dash is not working again and the check engine light came on. I'm starting to wonder if I should have waited and got a subaru brz j/k........no but seriously

Gary Rome Hyundai in Holyoke MA will also double the warranty, but you pay for it. I paid 900 bucks to make my warranty 10yr 100k Bumper to bumper.
If you're not paying for it up front, its worked into the price of the car. As the saying goes, nothing is free LOL If they claim they offer it no charge, they are taking one huge bet that as the original owner you will not have it 20yrs nor 200k, which even the Hyundai warranty does not transfer to 2nd owner.

Hmmm. I'm wondering if a cluster from a VT would just plug into a NA and have the little digital info center work.

I would way rather have the vt cluster, just so i can stare at the vast amount of larger numbers

Unfortunately, with the cluster replacement comes an odometer reading of zero.... Make sure they order a sticker stating the difference in mileage. The cluster does not come with the sticker.

This a dealership offered incentive -- I also have the 20 year 200,000 mile warranty. It's a good gimmick. The majority will never even see the 10 year mark before trading. 200,000 miles -- that might be another story. Some folks will hit that in the 10 years easily and that's who this is really good for.
