Got a new instrument cluster and everything seems to be working fine. I took it in and had the sunroof recall inspected as well. According to my dealership there was nothing wrong with the sunroof and it "passed". All seems to be well as of now.

I just recently have the same problems with my veloster. I really do like the car, but with a second issue within a year of ownership I'm starting to worry about what happens once the warranty is over.
*note my first issue were the rear brake caliper seizing.
Both of these issues aren't that dangerous, I've had a 09 Honda Civic which had a leak at the steering column. That issue locks up the steering completely. So it's not a Hyundai specific thing...maybe I just have bad luck with cars.
About a year ago the RPM gauge failed on my car not too long after i got it. They replaced the instrument cluster as well and it reset the odometer. Instead of getting a sticker, they sent my car out for a couple days to a place that reprograms the odometers so they are accurate. I don't know who did it but you should ask your dealer if they can do that.
My dealership gets the odometer reprogram straight from the parts department at Hyundai. So they don't need to send my car anywhere.
Mine just got a fancy yellow sticker on the inside of the driver's side door. I too am approaching my second issue with my V and have an appointment tomorrow to get it checked out. When I downshift and the rpm's jump higher I can hear almost a whining sound but just barley and only when the rpm's are up. It also almost sounds like its behind the instrument cluster or near the front driver's side wheel.........so we shall see. I too am a bit concerned about the issues I've had with my car since I've owned it. I have already had the sunroof recall performed and it "passed", I've had the instrument cluster replaced, and now I have a weird sound when downshifting and a slight clunking sound that a lot of other owners have mentioned but I just thought it was the DCT because I saw a pamphlet at the dealer that stated that the DCT does make a clicking sound and its normal. So I'm going to be mentioning all of this to my dealer tomorrow and I'll update with my progress. I really do love this car and my dealership has been great with any issues I've had, but It's not even a year old and the issues keep coming. I'm going to be optimistic thought so I'm sure everything will be taken care of with no issues![]()

Welcome to the yellow sticker club, where dealers find an easy way out at your expense lol. The first thought that occurred to me was how much this affects resale value, and I'd have to believe that it does significantly. If I ever saw a sticker like that, I'm sure I wouldn't buy it for fear of some complication. In addition, I bet dealers are reluctant to accept vehicles like that as a trade in.
Thank you Hyundai for making life more interesting.
I ended up cancelling my appointment for the sound I was hearing. I ended up discovering that it was my SRI rattling......installer error!!! OOOPS!
