Did I hit a nerve? For me finding the right balance between height, stretch and camber is a fun experimental process.

Yeah it is pointless and I stayed away from it on my track car. But in the community I am interested in, I feel that a aggressive fitment VT would be fun!

No, not at all. Just reminded me of that when you said you're not interested in practicality. I am, however I can appreciate a good show car.

What I can't appreciate is a show car that just looks clownish. Your Photoshop isn't bad. I'd say in the rear that's about as much negative camber as you can possibly have without it just being completely stupid.

    This stuff...this needs to stop.

This. This looks stupid as hell!

I agree with you on the dragon camber cars. I don't even think you can call them impractical, they are at a whole different level. Although there are some cars that have a good amount of -camber that look very nice. I guess I was not clear on my opinion of impractical. I understand that the look I want has some issues with being comfortable and hard to drive around some areas but to me it is worth it. Before I got the VT as my DD I had my STi. I spent a long time trying to blend the aggressive "stanced" look with practicality. I still wanted it to function on the track while still tickling my eyes fancy. It took a while and found it very fun to figure out. Now with the VT I don't have to worry about compression rub on a banked track or tire wear issues because I honestly won't be driving the VT as I would my STi. It is my work car and all I really want is it to look good!

It will be pretty hard to get concave wheels like that on a vt. I'm sure those are 10+ inches wide and have a low offset. My wheels are about perfect fitment wise and they are 8.5's with a very conservative offset. Ther also is no camber adjustment on back. You would have to go all custom in back.

Yeah, nothing rustles my jimmies more than seeing a car stanced to uselessness, especially performance cars, sti, evo. Anything that's tucked, poked more then an inch, or just plain cambered more than a tiny bit. Stupid. If you wanted to do that, go ahead, but take off your turbo parts and send them to me. I'll actually use them. If you're going full potato on a vt, why not save all that money and got a na and potatoed it up?

I could go lower, maybe in summer. Too bad our wheel wells aren't huge like a 240sx

I am sorry that it rustles your "jimmies" and I was not trying to offend anyone. I mean I posed in a thread that was labeled "Let's see some slammed V's." This is what I am into. I understand that doing these things to extreme limits a car performance but the joy of doing this is trying to blend the two and having a happy medium.

I don't even know where you got the idea where I was going to potato my car. The chopped image I posted had the most -2 degrees of camber and a flush suspension. Neither of which would completely "Potato" my VT.

I didn't get upset, you seem to be only stancing it with little camber as explained. No rustled jimmys over here. I was just agreeing with what was already said, how super camber, tuck, and potatoing a sports car is stupid.
You won't be able to camber it anyways unless you're ballin, which maybe you are since you have all that money for tires? I'd love to see what you come up with. I'm not against you, i have ralliart lancer wheels I'm slamming my car on. But ill be flush with the fender and proper safe clearance.

Yeah it is, I am not fond of the color on a white NAV though.

I have 18x9.5 +38 from my other car I am gonna try and fit on this weekend. You think it will work?

They will stick out a half inch. My wheels have the same offset and are 8.5 inches wide. They stick out maybe an 1/4 inch if that. If we could get camber adjustments in rear you could do it no problem. But we don't have that available yet

What about the NGM Betamax COs? They say they have camber adjustment.

Also did you need spacers or anything? Or was there enough clearance?
