    bluetooth issues

Solved the problem with bluetooth not functioning anymore by going to hyundai on line and setting up the car like the manual says to do. Duh? It all works great now.

Seems like to un-related circumstances that you are putting together.

    Just my 2 cents.

BTW, I'm glad it's working now.

I could be wrong, but the utility on myhyundai.com is for checking the compatibility of your phone. I don't think it has any bearing on whether or not it actually works.

    Thanks,

I had an issue pairing my phone while I was at the dealer to pick it up. It would recognize the phone and I could make a call, but it would not stream my music over bluetooth. I finally went in settings and reset everything to factory defaults, turned the car off and then back on and repaired it. After that, everything worked fine.

Not sure if this is the same issue you had, but I find that resetting everything and the "re-booting" usually fixes most problems when it comes to software/electronics.

I have an i-phone 4 and while the phone pairs with the Hyundai Veloster operating system it freezes when making calls and won't take any incoming calls through the Veloster. I have tried returning the veloster phone factory settings and tried other people's phone's with a friends 4S working??

    Any advice?

i have the iPhone 4S, once in a while, and oddly enough, both times were when i filled up at the same gas station, i would stream music from my cell to the head unit, but the head unit wouldnt be making any sound. the song was still playing, it hadnt paused or lost bluetooth connection. what i did the first time was pull over, shut the car off for about 30 seconds, and start back up. worked fine but a few weeks later it did the same thing. used my trusty Gerber 06 FAST knife to push in the head unit reset button for 10 seconds, and it works like a charm now. havent had the problem since.

I am having an issue with my veloster bluetooth...it was working and then one day wasn't. Eventually it re-paired (after 4 attempts - hurdle one over) and now the voice recog works but it does not make the call...the screen reverts to the radio which I had on before selecting the VR to call. I have powered down the phone, pulled the battery and restarted the phone. Any other suggestions?
