    Lowering the volume on the Nav system

    Is there anyway to lower the volume when the girl talks,sometimes it's a little loud but it seems to be preset that way !

    Yes, there is a volume control within the Navigation menu.

    It's a little hard to find but it's in there. You actually have to be looking at the Map screen to find the button to push to get to some more Nav options.

    Once you have your destination set and the "route guidance" begins, there is a triangle that points to the right (beside the scale) on the lower left of the screen. Press that triangle and 6 options come up. I believe it's the 3rd option from the left that is the volume of the "talking girl". It is a speaker icon. Press it and the rest is self-explanitory.

    Let us know if you find it and get it set to the volume you desire.

    In the Aussie model you can change the volume by pressing down on the normal volume knob and turning it to your desired volume.
