There is no budget, i'm willing to spend that $250. What parts, etc would I need for this though and where would I order it? That seems like it would take some serious knowledge of not only the wiring but other delicate hardware that I am not capable of.

Nelo, do a quick google search "RFID keyless" or look it up on eBay.

And really looks no harder than any other aftermarket alarm or similar.

Couple cable harnesses, few modules to connect and tuck away. Surely not rocket science, and if stumped probably any alarm or stereo shop could help you out.

I'm looking into doing this as well since mine is a Style only so got no push button or remote start.

This systems are pretty much all in one. Keyless entry (not even have to use a fob), push button start (key does not need to be inserted), remote start (works on auto and manual cars), and some even work as an alarm with a shock sensor and all (unlike the "passive" OEM alarm).

That'd be a great spot to put a switch for some rally lights, or a button to activate some sort of boost. I already redubbed my TCS Off button as the passenger eject button

I can include pictures this weekend, but here's what I did:
I took out the dash faceplate. then the 2 screws that hold the button-lacking circle. It has a black ring that is removed by pushing out the snap-on tabs. its not translucid, so it cant be used for light. I purchased 3 blue LED s and put one behind each of the holes that used to hold the ring's clips (3) ...I also added led strips to my air vents by sticking them inside the ducts , wires will run out between the foam that seals the vents on the faceplate. outside vents have 2 screws that show behind the snap out covers between the doors and the dash.....I used the wire that lights up the dashboard behind the usb plug and hooked all the leds to it. Im sure any button will have this wire, you just need to find it. I dont remember the color of the wire, but Ill look and post. ( the cupholder kit I purchesed from ebay had the color in the instructions)

To make the glowing ring I took fishtank air hose and inserted black stranded copper wire #12 in it. cut them both to fit in the grove left after removing the factory ring. I offset the spot where the wire meets from where the tubing meets to have a good connection. the ring then just holds in the grove by friction and does not fall out.

.. I have had keyless start for 6 or 7 years and I wish I had keyless entry to my house! .. .

This is my first keyless car, and it now bugs the hell out of me that I have to search for my keys to get in the house . So I fitted a keypad door lock on the inner garage door to make life easier
