I'm fairly new to all of this. How did you get your shift knob off? I can't figure it out. I've looked places, and this is the first thing i've seen on anyone doing it with an A/T
Ok, so there's a silver trim piece at the bottom of the stock knob. Grab that with pliers and pull straight down. You're probably going to tear it up/bend it, bit it's easily replaceable.
Now, there's a c-shaped metal clip at the bottom of the knob. Take a small screwdriver and pry it out. Slide the knob straight up and off.
What do you mean turn it? From what I've read you have to take that silver trim piece from the bottom of the shift knob out. Are you saying that you don't need a pair of pliers it will just pop off?
Hey are you happy with color it looks kinda light grey? Does flow with interior color? I mean I know not perfectly but seem like such a light color in all the photos? Does feel like metal or plastic?
