Contains everything required to convert the factory halogen headlights in your Veloster into HID (aka: High Intensity Discharge) and a full 1-year warranty. Precision Lighting has been around since the early 1990's and produces some of the highest-quality and most reliable kits on the market. No hassles, no fuss - just tried-and-true lighting every time you start the car.

The Precision-manufactured bulbs are laser-aligned and optimized for longer life cycles - up to par and even surpassing the industry standard of 2500 hours. They are one of the smallest models available, about the size of a pack of playing cards. Included are the features of automatic reverse polarity protection, EMI circuit shielding, and hot restrike protection. Ballasts are waterproof and shockproof as well. The latest digital technology is evident with this product to ensure durability over the long haul.

    Included in each kit:
2x HID bulbs (choose any color)
    Two 35w slim-line ballasts
    Full one-year warranty

    Veloster bulb sizes:
    Low beam - H7
    High beam - H7
    Foglights - 881

We also have virtually any other size if you need an HID kit for another vehicle - just ask for availability!

Nice to see this. Although Xan would probably rage over HID in Halogen reflectors .. do you guys provide HID reflector/projectors?

I don't think the Veloster H7 socket allows for a conventional plug and play setup. The socket contains the locking ears that hold the bulb in place instead of the conventional spring clip. What I've seen so far is those that have done the mod are using something like the dum dum used to affix windshields to hold the HID bulb in place. The socket needs to be removed and the wires from the socket fitted with spade lugs to mate with the hid 12v input. Not exactly plug and play, but not too difficult either.

My major concern is same as SkyriderAR about the socket plug. Also it's needed to install the cancellers (left & right) to work as someone have successfully installed. Have ImportShark tried to install it successfully on the Veloster? If yes, pls post the details pics. Many vendors are selling the HID kit for Veloster. But seems no vendor can prove it really work without any modification or add on parts!

We'll be doing a test fit and full DIY as long as I can find a local test mule. For whatever reason, I haven't been able to find someone in the NYC, Long Island, or north Jersey area who's willing and able to swing by. Still working on it...

Nice feedback. Pls any NY owner can go to Import Shark for the HID test fit. So we all can know the details of what's the exact parts (relay? canceller?) or modification (connector? housing?) are needed.

You will have to modify the stock bulb holder to allow for the wires and to make room for the base of the bulb. Without doing so, you have no way of holding the bulb in the headlight. Not hard, as I have done it but it takes patience and time. If some vendor could come up with an aftermarket holder with the center missing, it would be pretty much plug and play...

Does anyone know if they are making aftermarket bulb holders? If not is there a DIY for that? or a DIY for the install?

    Thanks!
