I own more Benchmade knives than I know what to do with, all daily carry ones beat to crap like they are supposed to be. For the record I think this is the best thread I've seen around here in quite some time. I saw the thread name and knew this was going to be a great thread!
thanks for posting, i love those girps. This is the worst ive ever seen a thread about just gun pictures get, haha. i love benchmade knives, i wish i had more.

here are my 2 benchmades (disregard the background , they are plays on all of the "tactical" pictures that people take- TacDonalds... pics for another thread, i think maybe you had to be there to get it. i also think defending my mcdonalds backgrounds isnt getting me too far...)

    not a benchmade:

I love my 1911, after my first purchase of the Glock, the next logical step was a 1911 pistol. Not only do they shoot great, they have a design that is still arguably one of the best looking appearance wise.

"assault clip" as the gun grabbers call them... even though they arent "clips" and they are physically incapable of committing assault.

yea you'll lose your guns and go to jail here in CA for those 30rd mags... I hate all the bs laws in CA, they banned open carry pistols Jan 1, 2012. It's cool I guess they want the criminals to prevail, figures.

if you had the mags prior to 1/1/2000 you are cool, as long as they arent in an OLL or a gun that didnt exist prior to that date. like in my case, my dad gave me tons of "high cap" mags when i was a kid back in 1999, so i can use my 15 round glock magazines since i owned them prior to 2000.

this on the other hand... i had to take this pic out of state!

I go shooting w/ my boss on occasion (he has an arsenal) ATF does random checks at the ranges on AR-15's and AK's for CA compliance, if ya get caught with something your not supposed to have, loose your gun or go to jail.

Well, it looks like someone got their panties out of a bunch, or actually listened to people and decided to drop it.

I don't see a problem with this thread. I may have had a major difference in point of view with smellypanda in another thread, but there is nothing wrong here... it's in the right part of the forum, it's showing pictures of a stationary object - not of it being used in any voilent, harrassing or threatening way.

I don't currently own a gun, but when I lived at home, I used to go hunting with my dad every winter. Also when I visited my sister for Thanksgiving this year, a group of us went out skeet shooting and despite the noise, it was a fun & relaxing time.

We used to be able to open carry a firearm in public in CA, unloaded with no magazine in the firearm. You could keep a full magazine in your pocket, just not in the gun. 1.5 seconds would have you ready to go (at least me), grrrr this state.

yeah- no 10+ round mags on any AR or AK that needs a bullet button. ive heard of ATF going to ranges in Socal, haven seen or heard of it in norcal yet...

i can shoot in my backyard, i just havent set up a good backstop yet, i need to get on that so i can avoid ranges.

the mag couldnt be in your pocket because CA case law says its an integral part of the weapon, there for if you put it in your pocket you are partially concealing the weapon.

the good thing about the open carry ban is that with a few law suits, it will force "shall issue" ccw. until we have shall issue or UOC again, we do not have a 2nd amendment in CA / it is illegal to bear arms as of now.

So Cal is so dense you either have to go out to the desert, or find a local range. A good friend of mine whom works for LAPD got his Colt M4 confiscated for no bullet button by the ATF when we were at the range. The 'I'm a cop here's my badge' excuse didn't work. Beautiful gun too..
