What spacer size to make it flush with fender?

I have to VT and I wanted spacers, I think it would provide more traction and control of the vehicle. Also I want them to be nice and flush with the fenders. What size would I need and would I need bigger screws or the adaptor to them? I wasn't looking to order adapters and new sets of screws though. What size mm would you think would work, thanks. 15mm front and 20mm rear; spacers usually have new studs built into them. if you get spacers that dont ( like me ) you will have to replace your wheel studs.

they dont make extended studs for the veloster; I did a bit of research for myself and found out that mazda miata extended studs fit perfectly.

I got ARP extended studs for mazda miata 070-100-7719.

But dont make the same mistake I did and get the model with the studs in them

I would go as far as saying that maybe 18mm in the front and 23mm in the rear would be actual "maximum flushness".

As 15/20 get close enough without going outside the fender and 20/25 go out just a tad.

    Please do!

Although I must warn you, if you haven't checked already I am positive that no ones makes them in those sizes (18mm/23mm). So most logical solution would be to get a set of 15mm/20mm with studs pressed in and all of that, and install them over a set of 3mm spacers.

At least that's the only way I can think of to get to that stance.

Nobody has tried this yet.. I'm mostly interested in seeing how this would result. Although I'm probably just gonna go the "stacking" 2mm or 3mm on top of a 15/20 set way. In case it is cutting it "too close" for comfort.

Had a stray pothole once cause a tire to hit the fender and crease it cause of the impact.

Whats the advantage of running the longer studs with studless spacers than the ones that bolt on and center themselfs. I'd be more worried about them being tightly secured as far as stacking them to have a little poke. That would look amazing, a little poke with mudflaps. Mhmmm

    What do you mean De?

Theres really no benefit to running longer studs and stud-less spacers. Coming from European cars that required such alternative, it makes it harder to mount and center unless the spacers where hub centric in any way and allowed for guide rods.

And as far as "stacking" goes really there's no increased risk at all unless you were negating "thread" grab to those added spacers.

By themselves usually as has been the case with all options found for the V, all spacers with studs pressed into them seem to run "long" and usually require long lugnuts or open ended ones. So by "sandwiching" those extra 2 or 3mm, you are pretty much taking back what you had extra and using your OEM lugnuts should work now.

Also a couple drops of Loctite between spacers should make them more "at one". But still allow to be separated if you where to hammer a flathead screwdriver between them to split them up.
