Took A different path with wheels n tires

Ok guys n gals, you'll probably love em or hate em.
I've always liked steel wheels n caps better than mags, so here it is.

Wheels are 15" off the shelf steel wheels.
    Tires are 205-75-R15's
Absolutely no rubbing and half the noise of the stock tires n rims.
Which are up for sale I might add. (shameless act of self promotion)

Got my Flame Suit on, so go ahead.

Interesting, definitely V retro. Hopefully the rotors will remain cool and not shimmy over time

Both the cars behind it have had disks for several years, no problems.

Definitely striking! And Original. Kinda reminds me of a 50's matchbox car. No flames intended.

Not something I would do - but I admit it does not "burn the eyes" looking at it.

Speaking of flames, why not put flames like the old style hot rods? At least photoshop to see how it looks.

Not digging it. I just see it like too much out of place.

If the design of the car was more "retro-ish" maybe. But as long as you like it.

PS.. Are you running straight headers out of that Ford Coupe?

Not my style but I dig it man. Old school meets new school. Props for being brave enough to try it and extra props for it looking good.

They can be uncapped at the end of the header, but what you can't see is a down pipe and some glass packs under the running board
You can see it better on my intro thread.

Exactly like I expected taller tires to behave.

Softer, Quieter, corrected the speed o error because of the height.
I'm sure they don't handle as well around a corner, but my speed demon days are long behind me. (Mostly)
The thing that was most surprising was how much quieter they were than the stock set up.

Looks pretty good. not something i would do but i can see where it came from. kinda reminds me of the new Beetle, you can get the old school bug wheels for them. the 49 in that pic looks awesome though. my dad loves 40's cars. he had a 47 Chevy but crashed it and has a 41 Chevy now.

Like it considering your stable of cars. I am envious of the improved ride.

I'm running 195-65-15's winter tires on my Veloster and they're far less noisy than the 17" Nexxen !!!
