    Plasti-dip Style Wheels

So I have only had my V for a day or so and I have already started customizing. I plasti dipped my rims today and I love the way they turned out. Its my first time working with this stuff so it was definitely a learning experience. I will have to take my rims off the get the inside of the rims as you can see in one of the pics.

My question for you guys: Would you remove the plastidip center circle to expose the hyundai emblem or leave them like they are?

looks really good! that was also something I was debating too, either reveal the emblem or just leave it matte black. But from your pictures, i might just leave mine matte black. But if you do reveal them, post more pics, would love to see the comparison between the two.

Thanks man. You gotta post some pics when you get that done. My next move will be dipping the front grill and then tinting the windows.

What did you use for the brake calipers? Is it a regular spray paint?

i took mine off when i dipped mine, i probably should have just done this though, it would have been way easier, and i wouldnt worry so much about the lug nut cavities peeling. about 5 months with the plastidip and they still have yet to blemish!

Haven't gone on the car yet, but ready for spring. Took the wheels off and all the color inserts out.

^Not sure who you're asking, but in light coats (at 5 coats each) it took almost 3 full cans.
