As far as TPMS compatible wheels go, the search engines on DT and TR both indicate TPMS when you put in vehicle type so it will only pull in TMPS compatible wheels. No shortage of options.
For simplicity, I ordered new transponders with the wheels and tires I ordered for my wife's patriot. $58 each. But they were $92 at the dealer.
The rubber pressure fit type shouldn't cost anything to transfer. The firs wheel change on my Wrangler, they just popped them out of the stock allow wheels and put them in the new steel wheels. When I replaced the steel wheels I didn't even put the TPMS transponders in. Then I reset the warning level to 0psi with my Pro-Cal module.
Seems to be a conflict here: product is clearly labeled Made in UK (note: not KR), packaging says Made in Korea. Since Schrader is an international company (manufactures most/all TPMS valves in the world), I suspect the conflict can be resolved by UK/Schrader packaging/manufacturing for Hyundai source in KR.
the tpms sensors cost 379.00 for all four .. iam going threw this right now buyng winter tires and rims from tire rack ... i think iam going to skip them
in the us it is a law that all cars have to have these stupid things

No, I am not in any way affiliated with this or any other dealer. They just gave me the best price. They seem to have some terrible reviews but my experience was perfectly fine.
Mine also did not need to be initialized. The TPMS light turned off as soon as they were put in the wheels.
I've had these on 2 cars so far and in one it was constant false readings. It came a point that if ever the pressure was low that I would have continued on since I stopped checking. Just annoying. On the last car my wife was down to the rim and the warning didn't come on. When we installed the winter tires on the warning stayed constantly on. If I had a choice I'd pull the fuse. There should be a way to turn them off.
Century white / Tech / MT / Tint 20% Rear, 70% Front
And whose brilliant idea was it to make it a law? LOL. I am shopping for summer/autoX wheels/tires and just realized TPMS is in the equation... I might just go with a black tape idea for the summer. I monitor my own tire pressure.

I suppose that, like so many of the safety stuff on our cars, it was rationalized in the minds of the auto experts we elected to the big house with the dome in D.C., that if it saves one life (and may have already done that...) it is worth the $50 it cost the auto maker to include.
Those experts may have had some additional 'education' from the pressure sensor industrial lobby.
