Need an opinion/advice on a few things

I am currently doing some exterior cosmetic modifications while I await the power train warranty to expire. Should I Plastidip the rims or will a can or two of flat black paint do the trick? So far the only thing I have done was color matched the front emblem.

Additional mods coming...
Plastidip front bumper (or spray paint?)
High temp green brake calipers.
Plastidip rear emblem
Tinted taillights (where do I buy tiny spray?)

Vinyl the bumper, and the tint spay.. auto zone carrys it or any car place store. Not of fan with tinted taillight, they will fade eventually. Well mine at least did on my ford

5 cans of PlastiDip will be enough to do all four wheels rear emblems and front bumper. Those are about $6 at any Lowes or Home Depot. Preferable over just spray painting.


As for the taillight tint, VHT NightShade can be found at any Advance Autoparts, PepBoys or Autozone.

Thanks for the replays. Got the four wheel Plastidip kit on the way and will be picking up an additional can at the local store. Going to research more on the tinting
