Did you have to order just a VT "grill", or the VT's entire front bumper?

Just the grill since I'm doing a custom carbon fibre front lip.

If by "grill" we are talking about the center piece.. Don't think it will fit in the NA bumper.

There's an owner on the FB forum that has all the parts to do a front end transplant and is in the process of doing so.

ugh kinda was hoping this was VT bumper on NA V not the grill. The grill will never work without taking a power tool to your front bumper.

It might be worth carving and doing some mud work on the bumper cover, if they didn't have that brick on the front.

What I plan to do is make a mold without the block and emblem and do it in carbon fibre. But first just going to make it work with these parts. I will show the progress when I receive it.

Will follow along but this doesn't seem as easy as some Audi guys have it with the S to RS grilles which literally just snap into place...

Yes that is very true but anything is possible with the right hammer and duct tape.

I'm actually working on the same thing and have a post on this already, the widest part on the turbo is in the exact center of the bumper. And the na it is 2 inches lower. So you will have to drill out and move it up or down. The length top to bottom is the same. Ill be doing the same soon...but I'm body working the hatch now

Sorry it took so long to respond but the grill went on back order and I just received it today. Demarioii u are right about the grill not lining up completely. It's going to take some cutting and moving around to fit it just perfect. Tonight I don't have the time but tomorrow or this weekend I will start tearing into it. Also looks like I might have to use some fiberglass also to make it look legit. So more to come.

Yep pretty much. But going to be a little more work than I previously thought but I think it's going to look a lot better than before.

it deff will. i photo shopped one on the NA and it looks great. But when i look at it i would rather just have the smooth curves of the matching fogs and the flares above the fogs just blend in the bumper alot better. I love the VT front. Did you get the one with the emblem spot and brick removed or just the stock one? I'm still going back and forth between 3 different options. The new Gen Coupe front, like the vega bumper, Audi R8 type grill, or the old Gen coupe style grill. I am leaning towards the audi one though.

I got the one with the block and emblem. I didn't want the block but ill deal with it til summer. And I think I found a solution so u don't have to move it down any. I'm going to mold some abs plastic to fit in the bottom corners where the gap is. Tomorrow stopping by the store to grab some and I'll post photos later.
