Something like this without the red part...would look sweet.

The stock look without the brick in FB might just not be durable enough. A lot of straight lines that might warp over time. No?

I would be happy with the stock look, minus the brick and the logo.

I'm down for stock without the brick and with/without the logo area. As I have said before I may not be entirely active on this forum but send me a msg and I'll respond
Anything with that brick gone is worth the money lol
So where do we send pymt? Lets get this rollin...
I vote for OEM with no plate brick. Looks good enough, BUT keep logo. Just to break it up a little bit, if not it looks too much just like a big gaping maw.
And did y'all see the one on the Cosworth 400hp SEMA car? Not bad.

I just want to clarify to avoid confusion. I would prefer the stock look, minus the brick and the logo. However, I would be happy with anything that doesn't have the brick. I'm not picky. Now start making the darn thing!

So, where we at with this thing?
Once I see what one looks like, I might be willing to cut up the NAV front end to install.

It's in the design phase right now. We should have all the costs calculated within the next week or so and I'll keep everyone posted after that on the initial timetable.

ok when i bought my Veloster turbo at Earnhardt Hyundai in Scottsdale AZ they had a Matt Grey turbo model in the show room with a debagged and brick less font grill. Im still trying to find out if that model just came with it or they put it on at the dealer. here in AZ we dont need a front plate and actually only get the rear plate so works for us. I really would love to have that grill seeing the brick looks stupid when you have nothing to put there. anyone else seen a VT with that grill?????

I'd be interested in one that looks just like stock without the brick or H. I don't really like front end badges. And no need for a front-plate mount here in Alberta, we're a single plate province.

Update: Just Heard back from Earnhardt Hyundai and they got a part number for the grill on the Matt Grey one they had in their showroom and he is right now calling other dealers to see if it does not have the fixed plate mount. So far, after calling one place he said it sounds like it still the same one but if anyone else wants to do look also here is the part number. 865612V510 lists at $75.42. He did a vin match to get the number for me. will update again once i get another call from them.
that is pretty awesome.
the only hyundai grills I have seen for the turbos on the net are either with the US plate brick, or the euro plate brick (not as tall and wider as the US)

I wish the assembly image was working properly. I click on the one that looks like a turbo illustration and it brings up a regular V

Still waiting for a conceptual dwg, or some indication on how import shark is going with this.
Standard grill sans the brick and logo?
