New body kit??

To date I think it is the nicest kit out their, and has the carbonfiber print in the mold. And I love their spoiler.

i dont know if it is arks wing but i think sequence and ark are the first ones to have modded velosters, before the car even came out. i would say there the original designers but ark doesnt have parts for the veloster on there website.

The CF print is not in the mold. That kit is just wrapped in that CF "look" vinyl.

ARK's parts will be available sometime in March. The bodykit might not be around until much later, but at least it's coming.

even the fender flares those are the most interesting things iv seen as accessories.

Also this body kit will be sold at the hyundai dealerships in Europe. So it's legit and high quality.

I have been talking to the company direct, and this what they told me. Working out deal for group buy for body kit and spoiler. And I wont be making a dime if it works.I wont bone members like some of the company selling on the forum!

You do realize that this kit isn't going to be any cheaper than $1500, right? In fact, I'd estimate the total costs to EASILY be a shade under $2000 shipped for people around here--and that's without a middle-man making a dime on it too.

There are two positive considerations though...
1) The kit is made out of polyurethane. That means everyone can expect the quality, fit and durability be excellent.
2) The manufacturer hydro-dips the entire kit in that faux-CF weave pattern--so technically having to budget for paint it is not a requirement.

Still, we're talkin a pretty decent budget for this kit if you want to be realistic.

nobody's getting screwed.
Parts made in small batches for a niche-market car that's only been out for six months are going to be more expensive - that's basic economics.

I like the kit. It's nice and not too wild. I'd be more sold on the wing though if the posts were bodycolor matched, instead of aluminum. It would "class" the wing up a bit. Or even to keep with the theme, maybe body colored but hydro-dipped afterwards to pull in the cf theme.

I've already spoken to Aldor and have pricing for the GB discount rate, as well as a shipping estimate. I calculated the costs to import the shipment, get it through US customs and ship to individual buyers within North America. That's the ~$2000 rate I mentioned above.

I'm not too confident that many people would be willing to drop that much coin on a lip kit. Granted, it's urethane, but that might not be justification enough because this material can be damaged too if the car bottoms out.

I heard ark will release their body kit soon :O though only rumor. No concrete date. But chances are I'll buy theirs.
