    Home Depot Lip Kit!

    Hey guys!
I completed this modification about a week ago, and it really gives the V a more aggressive look. for $35, I couldn't ask for anything better. I went all-around.

I'm sorry I didn't take pics during the process to make a full DIY, but I will post step by step instructions here in a little bit.

    pictures coming I'm about 10mins.

^these small nails worked for the front and back.. they came with the stripping.. pretty simple and easy.

^this however; not so easy. lol. took about 6hrs for both sides. I had to buy piercing screws since it's metal. and for every screw you see, I had to drill a hole with a drill-bit first.. with the combination of stretching, pulling, drilling, and screwing, you get decent results for a CHEAP price.

It looks nice. BUT....it is going to catch a lot of dirt and it's going to hold water, too. Other lips I have seen fit more closely against the body and prevent that.

it's pretty damn snug, I don't know what you're talking about.. lol.

also, I used a hard rubber strip instead of a "foam-y" one that most people use. It'll hold up a lot better that the other one.

Here's your pic and this is what I am talking about -- it doesn't look all that snug and it looks like it is already collecting dirt.
