    Veloster Rain Guards?

I didn't find any info here about rain guards being available, anyone know of any place that makes/sells them? Thanks!

WeatherTech makes nice ones. They have yet to produce anything for the veloster yet though.

Are you talking about mud flaps. I had my dealer install a set for me ($25 a pair + $50 install). If not, what are rain guards?

Yes, Virginia is expensive, but its just a little over what the factory install is ($85). Either way, is this the same as the rain guard PhilG is asking about?

If you mean the window vent/visors, I've seen them here (url below) for $100, set of two, made in Germany. It says "3 piece also available," no price or further info given for the 3 piece set.

I need/want these desperately, but I was hoping other brands would come out for somewhat less money - but that might be awhile. A lot of the Korean autoparts sources don't even have the Veloster listed on their websites yet.

I was talking about side window rain/wind guards/visors. Just heard back from Weathertech and they said they should have them and also all weather floor mats in about 2 months...let's hope so!

Just put the 2 piece set on; they are not the slim style I like, like the ones I put in my Pro5 but they do the job.

I also caved and bought the pair for $100. The 3rd piece for the passenger side rear costs $43 by itself. I don't really need it. I'm pretty happy with these - they actually come in clear, smoke and black (something like that) but Korean Imports only offers the one (smoke, I guess). Looks good with my red V. Make sure you leave them in the closed window for 24 hours - there is a video in various languages that explains more than that little 5" x 5" piece of paper that came with them.

If you only have the 2 in front it helps with the illusion of the mysterious 3rd door.

In the photos the material looks thin and the tint looks kinda light. Is that the case?

Any tricks to installing them, like which end first and do you need to twist them?

Thanks for the photos. They look real good on your car.

How long from date of order did it take to get them?

Watch the video on the manufacturer's website (not the Korean Imports site).

It shows a woman putting them in in about 12 seconds. It might have taken me 30 seconds.

The plastic's not thin at all and you have to flex them a little to make them fit.

It took about 10 days to the East Coast.
